To many of us it may seem that life is slowly beginning to head in the right direction, but still older adults are advised, in most cases, to keep sheltering. For many, the burden of isolation and uncertainty is becoming hard to bear. It is discouraging for them to see people of other ages resume activities. They feel excluded and there’s a lot of loneliness.

For the month of February, Fusion Church, you & I will make Horizon of Fishkill Senior Housing Apartments our Valentine. The Horizon Apartments in Fishkill NY is home to 90 different apartments with Seniors 55+ with limited income resources. We will be collecting food, toiletries, cleaning supplies & anything that can help bring comfort for those in isolation. These items will be distributed at the end of the month to 35 senior apartments along with handwritten valentine cards by Fusion Kids, prayer cards, and lots of love.

How can you help? There are a few ways.

1. You can sponsor a senior apartment (or a many as you like) for $25 each. Click the “give” link at the top of the page and select “Community Outreach”

2. You can purchase supplies and bring to our in person service or contact our office for drop off time and location (office@fusionchurchny.com)

3. To assist us with packing and distribution contact the office. You can send an email to the Office if you are interested.
